The regulatory tsunami is coming – Product Compliance Roadmap 2023/2024

Description: In the coming years, economic actors will be confronted with numerous new European and national product law regulations. These minimum legal requirements are becoming increasingly complex and pose great challenges, especially for SMEs and micro-enterprises. The lecture aims to provide an overview of the upcoming regulations on the marketing and offering of products and to enable companies to meet the requirements of product compliance in a targeted manner.

Vita: Sebastian Jockusch holds a degree in public administration (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt FH) and worked as a market surveillance officer in the state administration of Schleswig-Holstein from 2002 to 2011. He then left the public sector at his own request to join Dänisches Bettenlager, where he was responsible for product safety in global purchasing and sales in 7 European countries. During the last 1.5 years, due to the merger with the Danish parent company JYSK a/s, he was also responsible for retail in all European countries within the new group. In 2021, Mr Jockusch left the company at his own request to establish fox compliance GmbH and to make his 20 years of experience in the field of product compliance available to other companies and institutions. In the same year, Mr Jockusch was appointed to the editorial board of the new "Zeitschrift für Product Compliance".
